Zefaxim is an antibacterial suspension that contains Cefixime 100 mg/5 mL, an orally active 3rd generation cephalosporin, that has excellent efficacy against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including beta-lactamase producing strains in yummy strawberry flavor.

​​Each 5mL of reconstituted suspension of Zefaxim contains 100 mg of Cefixime.

Zefaxim is for treatment of infections due to sensitive gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is focused on difficult to treat RTI, UTI and GITI (majority of the infections are gram negative). It also used to treat acute bronchitis, secondary infections of chronic respiratory tract diseases, pneumonia, cystitis, and gonococcal urethritis
